Do you ever wish, you could just sit and listen to the artists you enjoy seeing live? No tv's, no pool tables clattering, no chatting at the bar. Just being able to listen with quality sound. Macks Music are planning to hold regular events in this wonderful venue . These will be intimate gigs with celebrated artists. We have several dates to be announced soon. Tickets will be limited, so you will need to get in quick once they are available.

The space used is part of the original Marston Saltworks building, which now has ancient monument status. The site has recently had a multi million pound renovation and has proved to be the perfect venue for music performances. The audiences and performers have embraced this very special setting.

The aim of the project is, to bring high calibre performers to this unsuspecting setting, , giving the audience,a very memorable experience. 

A licensed bar is provided at all events.

Tim O'connor

Tim has worked with many wonderful musicians including the late great Martin Allcock, Fairport Convention, Robert Plant, Cat Stevens and great fiddle player Andy Dinan, together they released the album "Mancunia",playing the Wickham festival and Manchester Ukrainian center as well as BBC radio sessions.

 

He has performed and recorded with Mike McGoldrick, Arty McGlynn and supported Richard Thompson, Daby Toure and Martin Stephenson among many others. Tim has performed at many clubs, theatres and festivals all over Europe, USA, Brazil and New Zealand. He has a very organic approach to music and has followed his own musical inspiration and intuition.
